in honor of Hahira's Dr. Jesse Parrott is available to serve the entire North
Lowndes Community medical needs. Two locally family owned drug stores, First
America and Chancy Drugs provide complete pharmacy services for the community.
Twelve miles to the south in Valdosta
South Georgia Medical Center is an authority-governed not-for-profit, 288 bed, short-term,
acute-care hospital serving the health care needs of South Georgia and North
Florida. As the region's major referral center, SGMC'S primary
goal is to provide the highest quality health care possible for its
patients.
Smith Northview Hospital
is located four miles south of Hahira and provides superior quality medical
care for the Hahira community. Some
services offered are, 24- hour emergency medical service, Surgical services,
Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Alcohol and Drug abuse treatment Physical
Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Laboratory, Radiology, Ultrasound, CT Scan
and Mammography. Many Hahira residents are long time employees of Smith
Northview. Services are being added daily to this rapidly growing
medical facility.
Family Dentistry is located on Highway 122 West 3/4 mile from the
center of Hahira and 1/4 mile from I-75 Exit 29. Dr. Kit Robinson D.M.D.
and his highly professional staff provide regular family dental checkups
and specialize in cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, dentures and dental
implants. He and his caring staff take great pride in providing quality
treatment for individuals of all ages and are always happy to welcome new
patients who desire the highest quality dental care in a state-of-the-art
office environment.
